Bama Biker Fest - Ackers Farms - Forkland - Alabama

Sweet Home Alabama!!

Known as the "Wildest Party for Bikers in the Deep South", this party takes place three times a year in March, July, and October, and are referred to as the "Spring", "Summer" and "Fall" Rallies. In addition to the standard partying, "Mud Bogging" and "Miss Bama Bike Fest" contests, the event also tries to raise as much money as possible for The Kidney Foundation. Now what's better than trying to help out a great cause?

What Is "Mud Bogging"?

Good question, and we wondered that as well. It turns out that the creative folks at Acker's Farms came up with the idea of running Monster Trucks through bogs of mud. If you're into that sort of thing, this is your place.

In addition to the Mud Bogging, there are motorcycle contests (for cash prizes and trophies), vendors, live music and DJs, a bar, camping facilities and lots, lots more.

Located on 100 acres, facilities include hot showers, washrooms, free tent camping and just about everything that a camper would need.

We always recommend visiting the official websites for information, but here are a few things you can consider if you plan on attending:

  • RV's and campers in the primitive area are free.

  • Power and water hookups are $80.00 for the weekend.

  • Adults only.

  • Bring sunscreen and other supplies.

  • There is a Wal-Mart nearby.

EVENT ATTITUDE TO NUDITY:

Since it is an adult-only event and located on private property, people are free to do as they please. Essentially. Flashing of breasts is quite common and no one seems to mind one way or the other.

EVENT ATTITUDE TO CAMERAS:

Cameras are allowed, but you should be respectful of everyone and ask for permission before you snapping photos.
