These are photos taken at the Miss Nude America contest in Naked City, Indiana,in the mid 80s. Naked City was a nudist resort, located just down the road from the Ponderosa Sun Club (Nudes-a-poppin) in Roselawn, Indiana. Each year they had a couple of "contests" called Miss Nude America and Miss Nude World. The place and the events were very poorly run and many thought that the contests were fixed. The contests and girls were much more risque than the contests at Nudes-a-poppin. The contests took place on Saturday afternoons. Visitors to the event paid an admission and were allowed to take photos of the contestants, many of whom were nude dancers, until the contest took place, which was usually several hours late. On Friday evening, there were dancers in the "clubhouse" (the indoor photos). These photos were taken in 1984 and 1985. Rumor has it that the owner was forced out of the state. He moved to LA and opened another nudist resort called Naked City Los Angeles.
