The weather was absolutely perfect for this year's race. Due to the Boston Marathon bombing there was much publicity about non-registered runners not being allowed on the course and no backpacks. The reality is that seven miles of open city and Golden Gate Park routing simply make that impossible to enforce, and I certainly saw both during the day. There may have been fewer partiers because of this publicity. San Francisco also passed a nudity ban, and some who didn't follow it closely may have missed that there is an exemption for street fairs and the Bay to Breakers. If anything there was more male nudity this year, and not just the older male nudists and exhibitionists. The female nudity was about the same as last year, or perhaps a little improved. Still, it continues to be a great time for all who participate!
